TOTAL RECALL

This is cool. The technology, called backscatter, has been around for several years but has not been widely used in the U.S. as an anti-terrorism tool because of privacy concerns. It’s basically like the full body scanner in the movie “Total Recall.” I remember watching that thinking this would be awesome in reality. Looks like its going to be a reality (here is the article.) They are going to install one of these in the Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix, Az. It will be up and running by Christmas. The top picture is from teh 1990 film "Total Recall."
